PSIG 44: Thursday April 5th, 2001
Location: The NorthWest of Us Office
Attendance: 7
A great meeting. I gave a presentation on network security, but Carl Jester really helped me out with many details, examples, analogies and war stories. Carl works for Motorola Information Protection Services, so he knows a little something about security...
We covered the (fallen) barriers of entry to cracking, cracker motivations and techniques, and why the "no one is interested in MY computer" argument is flawed. Scary stuff all around.
