This was the month that RSA's patent on Public Key Cryptography enters the public domain.
In honor of this passage, I gave a presentation on cryptography. It covered keyless, symmetrical and public key ciphers, cryptographic hashes and digital signatures. Finally I showed off some old Blowfish code I wrote that a ported to the Multiprocessing API.
