PSIG 0x0C: Thursday August 7, 1997

Programming Special Interest Group
Location: My Office
Attendance: 6

Although it didn't come up at the meeting, this meeting was PSIG's 1 year anniversary. It should have been in June, but we had to skip June and July's meeting due to the NorthWest of Us air quality conflict. I went to the NWoU office during the day to pick up the projector. Even though our friends next door weren't present and the air scrubber was going full bore for a couple of weeks, it was as bad as it has ever been. No joke, it was poker night thick. It was a very good thing we met at my office instead of the NWoU office. Despite the construction in the room next to us.

Olof Hellman completed part two of his scripting presentation -- everything your wanted to know about recordability but were afraid to ask. We got some pizza (half pepperoni, half sausage) from Little Sicily's downstairs. A large 16" disappeared quickly. Everyone had a couple of squares and chipped in.

I proceed to relate my MacHack 12 trip (hence the 0x0C reference above). It was great fun, and we all had many a laugh. The night ran rather long since I didn't chase folks out like I had to over at The NorthWest of Us office.
