C4[0] Linkage
Presented in the order of search results for “C4” in my copy of NetNewsWire: Dan Pourhadi: “But we don’t need a mascot,” he continued. “We need a gang sign.” Olof Hellman: Contrary to the skeptical whisperings of some of the Planetarium staff (“Why are you showing them closets?”), the highlight was easily the rack of more than two dozen G4 cubes wired up as the brains of the classroom workstations. Gus Mueller: It was good. I got to meet up with a bunch of old friends, and make some new ones. […] And I’ll be going to C4 next time for sure. David LeBar: Wolf would control them all from an an elaborate scaffolding suspended high above the Moscone center by blimps… Daniel Jalkut: I figure you sad suckers who couldn’t find the time, money, or initiative to get to C4 this year are feeling pretty down right about now. James Duncan Davidson: I can report that it’s a real blast. There’s a full room of really smart, really bright people focusing in on Mac software. The presentations and conversations have been totally great. Kyle Killion: Well I’m here in Chicago, spending some time with friends after a wild weekend of C4ing. It was a great time, Wolf did a excellent job. Mike Zornek: What I liked overall: Catching up with friends I haven?t seen in a while (or never did, ala IRC #macsb room)… Brent Simmons: I had such a great time. Steve Dekorte: I think there were about 90 attendees - just big enough to make for a lively community but not so big as to feel lost in a crowd. Jonathan Saggau: First, wowie zowie many thinks to Rentzsch. Not only is this guy wicked-smaht, he can put on a conference with 100 attendees without breaking a sweat. Well, at least it looked easy. Paul Kafasis: If Wolf is especially crazy, he’ll do it again next year. If so, the Mac community at large is sure to benefit. Zachery Bir: That evening, we went to Jak’s Taphouse for some really tasty beer sodas. The rest of the evening (and much of the following morning’s wee hours) were a complete blur. What happens at C4 stays at C4. Michael Bianco: The coolest part about C4 was seeing people who I?ve only read about, and meeting people whose apps I seen/used/read about. Chris Forsythe: There were some awesome presentations, and we got to meet a lot of great people. Alex Payne: Laughs all around, if you’re a giant nerdasaurous. Fortunately, everyone here is. John Moltz: Clearly, the pain of living with the knowledge of the havoc he has wreaked up on humanity has driven him insane.
